Quotes: | Marko Jovanovic, producer and owner, "Underground" studio, Belgrade | The time it took getting used to SuperMee was extremely short, less than two hours. A strange thing happened while I was listening to my reference CD, I simply could guess by ear the obtrusive frequencies, the ones that stood out of the mix, and an analyser proved me right. Simply put, I had a "microscopic" perspective on the CD I was listening to. What I also noticed, is that the speakers were not fatiguing, having spent the first two days working on mixes for about 20 hours, without headache, tinnitus, and other signs of fatigue I previously experienced on my Genelec 1032a. | | Aleksandar Jovanovic, sound engineer, owner, studio "OFF", Sevojno-Uzice | My personal impression is that I could have SuperMee as the only pair of speakers in my studio, because of their accuracy, precision and clarity in all bands, and what surprised me the most is that they have more than enough bass. I clearly could hear the mistakes in my older mixes, and would certainly do some things differently on them.
| | Marko Milicevic, owner of the "Hollywood" studio, Belgrade | What I like the most about SuperMEE is the midrange which has way more detail than my Mackie HR824, and the extra punchy kick it produces. | | Vladimir Perovic, "Alpha" studio, Novi Sad | Firstly, they easily and precisely, even at relatively low volume, reveal various problems in the multitrack (glithes, noise, distortion...) They also give you the perspective to precisely tweak the EQs. Further, the thing at which SuperMEE really is superior is revealing the spatial information, delays and reverbs. Even in a crowded mix it is very easy to hear different reverbs on the instruments, their thickness, quality, duration and realism. They are very pleasant to work on, and in both the design and sound give an impression of a professional studio monitor.
| | Aleksandar Buzadzic, sound engineer, composer, producer | ...they're at the studio, and I'm not using anything else. I'm headed back to mix. Great job! | | Gradimir Stepanovic, studio "Decibel" | For me, SuperMee is closest to a great pair of NS10, but with far more bass, and that is just what I missed the most on NS10. |
