MPA3, a microphone preamp in API 500 module format  
Specification:- API 500 format, single space.
- Wide gain range (20-64dB)
- Precise, 12 steps, switched gain control
- ±6dB fine gain control
- -20dB Pad
- 48V Phantom Power Switch
- Hi Pass Filter Switch
- Polarity Switch
- Precise PEAK Meter with eight LEDs
- Electronically Balanced I/O
While testing it, we did a series of recordings, including drums, male and female vocals, acoustic guitars, saxophone. Here are some of the clips: We also did comparative tests with five matched Neumann KM184 microphones, each going to a different mic pre.

A room acoustics design for Res Media Studio, Novi Sad, Serbia
(Click on image above if you need bigger picture, but be carefull... this is a fairly big file... about 7MB!) We do: - All acoustic elements design for Control and Recording room from the "concrete" phase.
- Monitor placement for the 5.1 surround system (five PMC AML1 + PMC SB100 subwoofer + Bryston PowerPac 300 SST)
- Overall monitoring system calibration
In a really small Control Room we have managed to obtain a nearly flat acoustic response (down to 40Hz) in the mixing position for stereo and 5.1 surround and in two listening positions for guests (in stereo only). All of the work was done, with some pauses, from March 2006 to December 2006.
